Marrikur forms handpainted leather marquetry mirrors and Tuscan leather lamps, manufactured in the studio’s Chiltern Hills workshop.
The Washi leather marquetry mirror takes inspiration from the ancient scriptures and parchment papers often used in calligraphy and Japanese screens. Subtle tones of gold and blue inks are hand-painted onto natural untreated vegetable tanned Tuscan leather.
Due to the nature of natural leather, natural markings and variations in the hide may occur.
