Tom Faulkner’s collections are made by hand in his own workshop in Wiltshire by skilled and dedicated welders, finishers, painters, and cabinet makers; many of whom have worked with Tom for decades.
Self-taught in metalwork, Tom spent 25 years honing his design practice and signature style, defined by clean lines, distinctive silhouettes, and the simplicity of metalwork.
‘When I’m not travelling for ideas, setting up shop overseas or holing up at my country haven, I spend most of my time in Notting Hill. This special place is never short of inspiration amidst its convivial, creative spirit.’
‘For the better part of 30 years, I’ve kept my showroom in Chelsea. It’s a neighbourhood that’s constantly informed my work and sensibility. The fabric of London offers a varied visual education - from the free-wheeling spirit of the King’s Road in the ‘60s, and the classically beautiful homes of Cheyne Walk, to the design-drenched legacy of the Pimlico Road. London is very much part and parcel of my personal and professional story.’
