UK-based ceramist Matt Sherratt approaches his craft by exploring the 'nothingness' and allowing something to emerge from it.
During the making process, Matt Sherratt begins by centering a circular form on a pottery wheel and shaping its exterior through a slow and careful coiling process. The ceramic sculpture is then finished with a white glaze, and its organic curves create graduated shadows that accentuate its shape.
