Item Description
Tall Tenmoku White Porcelain Moon Jar is created using traditional Korean methods of throwing and joining two bowl halves before reshaping the form into a contemporary interpretation. Made in white textured porcelain, it is finished with layers of tenmoku, copper green, cobalt, and rutile glazes applied through dipping and pouring.
Inspired by the rock formations along the Northumberland coast near Cullernose Point, the jar reflects both geological influence and ceramic tradition. This piece was exhibited at Future Icons Selects.
