This hand-tufted rug recreates a study by pioneering Bauhaus designer Anni Albers that evokes the warp and weft of woven textiles.

Christopher Farr unites heritage textile craftsmanship with contemporary design. The brand collaborates with artists, designers and their estates to produce handmade rugs that restore rug-making to the status of fine art. The design for the rug is based on Albers’ study for a wallhanging created in 1926 during her time as a student at the Bauhaus school. The rug is produced in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
