The Satin vase is a take on the Opalino vase, a contemporary design classic originally created in 1932 by Paolo Venini.
Made by Venini's master glassmakers in Murano, Italy, this work employs the satin technique. In the decorative arts, satin glass delivers a matte finish achieved by immersion in a gentle acid bath resulting in a frosted finish. Each vase carries the mark of a master craftsman; a custodian of the company's history and expertise.
