Altrock is a contemporary terrazzo material developed by designer Robin Grasby. It consists of carefully selected pieces of waste marble suspended in a hand-dyed resin made with marble dust to maximise the recycled content. The table comprises three distinct slabs that are united by the inclusion of large chunks of pale-pink marble. The table’s sturdy base supports a simple glass top.
The Altrock table was originally created for the Relay Design Projects, a platform established by Relay Design Studio to showcase unique and limited edition design with a strong focus on experimentation.
