Drawn to molecular biology, UK-based ceramic artist, Abid Javed showcases his penchant for natural forms in this stoneware vase.

The Pleomorph vase takes its cues from French sculptor, painter and poet, Jean Arp, who was inspired by unconventional and organic shapes. Handmade in London and carved from black stoneware, Abid's sculptural piece is formed using a combination of clays, alongside pinch, coiling and slab techniques to create a versatile single-stem vase that also doubles up as a stand-alone conversation piece.
