Item Details
Item Description
Laura Ramírez works chiefly with grogged stoneware, often leaving surfaces unglazed to show the clay's natural texture.
This sculptural ceramic form is inspired by cellular structures and organic forms found in nature, exploring ideas of growth, interconnection and belonging. Individually shaped lamellae create rhythm, depth and shifting patterns of light and shadow across its surface.
