Item Description

Created in 1932 by Paolo Venini, the Opalino vase remains a contemporary design classic.

Made by Venini's master glassmakers in Murano, Italy, this piece employs the centuries-old overlay technique. In this practice, opaque white glass known as lattimo is inverted, then coated in layers of transparent or coloured glass to achieve a vivid finish. Each vase carries the mark of a master craftsman; a custodian of the company's history and expertise.
