Item Description
Hand carved in Portland stone, Nexus is the first in a series of spherical carvings by British stone carver Zoë Wilson. It was made during a Christmas visit to her childhood home in Shropshire and was inspired by the feeling of being in the core of a supportive family.
Named after its ability to draw the eye to its central point, Nexus' pattern is so precise it appears machine made, but look more closely and the maker's hand is revealed in the tiny chisel marks.
