Medium Onyx Black Porcelain Moon Jar is part of the Icelandic Collection and takes inspiration from the basalt beaches of Vík in southern Iceland. Thrown and textured from onyx black porcelain, it is finished with a copper green gloss glaze inside and along the rim.
The glazes interact in the kiln to produce a fluid, shifting surface effect. This moon jar can be displayed as a standalone piece, used as a vase, or combined with others as part of a collection.
