Item Description

The Variety coffee table pays homage to traditional Indian marquetry with its detailed geometric design.

Created by Italian designer Matteo Cibic for Scarlet Splendour in India, the Variety coffee table features bold geometric patterns on a black resin surface inlaid with vanilla resin. Its table top can be easily detached from the central leg using a simple brass fitting.

This work draws inspiration from Indian marquetry, utilising resin inlay as a modern and sustainable substitute for traditional ivory and bone.
