Item Description
Photographer and designer Martyn Thompson worked with a hand thrower in Stoke-On-Trent to develop the limited-edition Penny Vases, which push the boundaries of thrown pottery.
Once the forms are made, the vases are left to dry for six weeks. After first firing, Martyn then decorates each one by hand using his signature colour palette. The pieces are made possible thanks to ceramics company 1882 Ltd.'s expert knowledge of clay and glazes.
This vase provides a bold centrepiece that can support generous floral arrangements.
