Item Description
Large Kintsugi Tenmoku Moon Jar Vessel is formed using traditional Korean methods, with two thrown halves joined to create a moon jar before the shape is distorted into a new form. Thrown in onyx black porcelain, it is glazed with layered tenmoku, copper green, cobalt, and rutile glazes, dipped and poured to create depth across the surface.
Inspired by the rock formations of the Northumberland coast near Cullernose Point, the vessel is finished with a kintsugi detail.
