Marrikur forms handpainted leather marquetry mirrors and Tuscan leather lamps, manufactured in the studio’s Chiltern Hills workshop.

Named after a Japanese dry zen garden, Karesansui is an abstract oil painting defined by shimmering metallics and painterly calligraphic sweeps to mimic the constant shifts in light, opacity and reflection. Three painted layers create an ever-shifting visual journey, imitating nature’s cycles and encouraging meditation surrounding our existence.

Each one is signed by the artist on the reverse.
