The Iris mirrors are unique optical artworks that produce multi-layered reflections enhanced by a convex lens of translucent resin. The resin is striated with deeper tones and overlaid on a hand-silvered mirror disc held within a custom steel frame. The Ionian Iris Mirror is inspired by the piercing blue of the Greek Ionian Sea. The mirror seems to amplify light, creating eye-catching reflections that shift as the viewer moves around the piece.
