Item Description
Einstein Glass and Brass Candelabra reinterprets a classical utilitarian object through a balance of geometric rigor and material translucency. Developed in collaboration with Van Treeck, the piece explores the relationship between structure and irregularity, drawing from the aperiodic geometry of the Einstein Tile to create a form defined by asymmetry and subtle tension.
A fused glass plate composed of distinct shard geometries forms the silhouette, articulated in transparent hues that refract light into shifting chromatic effects. Three brass candle holders rest on the surface, while elevated brass legs lift the piece, giving it a sculptural presence and allowing light to interact with its surroundings.
Available in Blue, Red, and Yellow.
