The Dama vase in black and white resembles the skin of a tropical fish, resplendent in its depth and diversity.
Made by Venini's master glassmakers in Murano, Italy, this work employs the Murrine multicoloured glass technique. This ancient segmentation practice was developed in Alexandrian and Roman times, then rediscovered by the Venetians at the end of the 15th century. Each vase carries the mark of a master craftsman; a custodian of the company's history and expertise.
