The Checkers Crawl Moonjar Vase emerges from an ongoing exploration of patterns, checks, and lines, merging them with the alchemy of the glazing process. Crafted from stoneware clay, this vase is thrown on the wheel and further shaped with coiling and hand alterations. Throughout its creation, oxides and slips are meticulously applied at various stages, enhancing its texture and character. The vase is glazed with matte white, volcanic, and crawl glazes, followed by a third lustre firing with platinum and pearlescent highlights.

As each piece is hand crafted there will be slight variations in pattern and form, making every item distinctively unique.
