I believe in the richness of simplicity: I try to make work that is distinctive and strong. The beauty of any piece comes from the proportion, line and the detail.
Tom started designing and making furniture in the early nineties. Self-taught, he developed a fascination for metalwork early on, and has spent the last 25 years honing his design practice.
Everything in the Tom Faulkner collection is made by hand in Tom’s own workshop in Wiltshire, UK. His team is made up of skilled and dedicated welders, finishers, painters and cabinet makers, several of whom have worked with Tom for decades. Tom is driven by five pillars: distinctiveness, creativity, boldness, friendliness, and integrity. These values have been his guiding principles from the start. While the company has grown considerably, they strive to extend this ethos via meticulous attention to detail.
