Textile artist and designer Sean McNanney founded Saved NY in 2015. Having worked for Ralph Lauren Home, he realised his dream of crafting luxury cashmere blankets and throws adorned with classical motifs.

Saved NY

The Saved NY collection is a unique marriage of old-world craftsmanship and modern sensibility. The designs are influenced by a lifetime of collecting objects, textiles and ephemera from around the world.

Sean founded Saved NY after running a small antiques and clothing store with the same name from 2004 to 2008. He worked for Ralph Lauren Home from 2011 to 2014, creating sets and window displays.

Saved NY designs are influenced by a lifetime of collecting objects, textiles and ephemera from around the world. The pillows and blankets feature patterns inspired by diverse sources ranging from malachite rocks to Turkish woodblock prints. Sean believes in quality production methods, including the use of sustainable materials. His reverence for the traditions of Mongolian nomadic culture informs his fairtrade approach to collaboration and community integration. He regularly travels to Ulaanbaatar to visit the artisans who weave his pieces from the finest cashmere, camel hair and yak down.
