Originally from Cyprus, Michael trained as a civil engineer at Imperial College London before taking a masters in Industrial Design at the Royal College of Art.
Employing both industrial production and artisan techniques, Michael's utilitarian yet poetic pieces possess a certain magic, striking a delicate balance between sculpture and design. In all of his work, Michael seeks to preserve the inherent qualities of the materials he uses. The pieces produced at his studio are made by hand and come in natural finishes that gain patina over time.
