Originally from India, Riya Panchal holds a Master’s in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston School of Art, London. After working with renowned lighting brands, she founded Meseme in 2021. Her practice is rooted in artisanal collaboration, exploring materials and new making techniques to craft lighting that is both functional and artistic, inspired by life’s varied themes.
Meseme’s pieces are conceptualised, crafted, and meticulously assembled in Riya’s London-based studio. Combining in-house production capabilities with collaborations with skilled artisans, the studio brings bold design concepts to life. Each piece thoughtfully blends materials such as glass, metal, and specialist paper, ensuring exceptional quality and finish. Meseme’s modular and customisable collections invite personalisation, delivering expressive, timeless lighting solutions designed to complement diverse interiors.
