Le Berre Vevaud

Interior Architecture Studio

Paris, France

Le Berre Vevaud, a project by interior architecture duo Raphaël Le Berre and Thomas Vevaud, seamlessly blends classical and contemporary design. The pair embrace minimalism through sleek lines, refined forms and a range of textures, from clean marble to deep lacquer finishes.

Le Berre Vevaud

A lot of our work is inspired by the timeless sophistication of Art Deco, the avant-garde spirit of Bauhaus, and the poetry of the Memphis movement. We favour organic and sensual forms, simple tailor-made shapes, and always consider the infinite possibilities of material and colour combinations.'

Raphaël Le Berre studied at Penninghen and the prestigious École Camondo in Paris. With an MR in architecture, he honed his skills in the vibrant design scene of New York before enriching his expertise at Amar Studio. Thomas Vevaud, also from École Camondo, joined esteemed interior architecture agencies, Gilles et Boissier and François Champsaur.

Le Berre Vevaud explores an experimental design approach, forging unique connections between diverse design movements, from 1930s modernism to Brutalist aesthetics and contemporary forms. The studio’s creations feature a vibrant blend of colours, shapes, and textures, often retaining raw elements for authenticity. Expect honed marble surfaces, glossy lacquered tulip wood, and exclusive Eglomisé glasswork by local artisans.
