Hudson Valley Lighting

“We design for those who place quality above compromise - people who see lighting not just as function, but as a signature of character.”

Hudson Valley Lighting was founded in the 1980s by David Littman, whose passion for detail was sparked early by his mother’s love of antiques. After earning an MBA in finance, he returned to the Hudson Valley at 23 to start his own company. Building on his family’s lighting legacy, his grandfather launched a commercial lighting venture in 1939, David created a brand that celebrates American manufacturing, design heritage, and innovation. Nearly four decades later, his hands-on approach continues to guide its creative and operational direction.

Every Hudson Valley Lighting piece is born from a belief in enduring design. Drawing on vintage forms, architectural references, and the tactile richness of premium materials, the brand creates lighting that resonates across styles and eras. From grand chandeliers to understated sconces, each fixture is built with a precise balance of form and function. With facilities in New York and a portfolio that includes Troy, Corbett, CSL, and Mitzi, the Hudson Valley Lighting Group stands as a touchstone of quality in the contemporary design landscape.
