Founders Marie Cudennec Carlisle and Oliver Waddington-Ball set up Goldfinger to show that high-end design and joinery can be good for people and the planet. As part of its programme, Goldfinger also trains makers and artisans from less advantaged backgrounds.
Goldfinger’s collection of contemporary furniture is made by hand at its North Kensington workshop. Traditional joinery techniques are used to assemble the elegant and classic designs, which are designed to be used for generations. The pieces are manufactured exclusively from high-quality hardwoods that are either locally salvaged or sourced from responsibly managed British woodlands.
