Duistt was founded in Porto in 2014 by designer Olga Torres. Drawing on Olga's background in upholstery and furniture design, the brand was set up to celebrate traditional Portuguese craft. Since its inception, DUISTT has produced seven collections with designers in-house designers Mariana Azevedo and Rita Vasconcelos.

Grounded in the belief that good design is made to last, Duistt's timeless aesthetic combines the clean lines of mid-century modern design and architecture with ancient furniture making techniques and knowledge. Passionate supporters of local craft, all of the brand's pieces are made by Portuguese artisans using locally sourced, natural materials as well as carefully selected raw materials from suppliers across Europe. Renowned in particular for its upholstery, the brand's collection encompasses seating, consoles, cabinets, tables and accessories as well as lighting.
