Born in France and raised in Portugal, Christophe de Sousa studied Industrial Design at Lusíada University of Porto before launching a career shaped by collaboration and cross-cultural influence. In 2018, he founded his studio in Porto, working across furniture, lighting, and product design. His clients include Delta Cafés, Siemens, and Wewood. His work has received awards from Interior Design Magazine, Good Design™, and the European Product Design Awards. Known for clean geometry and refined detail, his pieces merge sculptural intent with utility.

Christophe de Sousa’s design process combines prototyping with close collaboration, resulting in work that blends material understanding with refined form. Drawing inspiration from architecture, nature, and industrial culture, his pieces are guided by proportion, function, and a pursuit of visual harmony. With exhibitions at Lisbon Design Week, Paris Design Week, Tortona Design Week, and Stockholm Furniture Fair, his studio represents a thoughtful and contemporary voice in Portuguese design.
