Bella Pieroni

I prioritise the viewer’s interpretation of my art works, therefore their involvement in the process is very important to me.

Trained as a fine artist, Bella has been exhibiting both nationally and internationally for over 30 years.

She works mostly in large format on paper, using natural media and tools. When working on canvas she uses mixed medium, acrylic and oil. Motivated by a sense of wonder, Bella is inspired by the work of fine artist Cecil Collins (1908-1989) who had a strong association with the Surrealist movement. Bella also finds magic and strange beauty in the performance of being alive. Each artwork captures a fleeting moment in time, offering a sense of immortality in each mark and splash of colour.
