Areti blends sculpture, architecture, and design into pieces that sit between object and space. Working from their studio in Germany’s Sauerland region, they keep tight control over every step. The core collection is fully made in-house for precision and consistency. Each piece moves from sketch to assembly through traditional craft, clean hand-finishing, and modern engineering, landing with strong sculptural presence and long-term utility.
Rooted in the Ancient Greek concept of areti, excellence fulfilled, Atelier Areti pursues design as a practice of refinement. Every piece is imagined to be both beautiful and purposeful, made to last through generations. Sustainability is integral to their model: durable metals, glass, and wood are locally sourced, while production techniques allow for repair and adaptation over time. Areti’s team of designers, architects, and technicians works collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of material integrity. The atelier’s output is modest in scale but ambitious in quality, with each object expressing a formal dialogue between light, shape, and space.
