Alex Mint
I was quite literally born into the marble business. I first realised the beauty of stone-working in my family’s marble factory - the place where I took my first steps. The transfiguration of this common, yet timeless, material resonated with me.
During her architecture degree, Alexia began designing tile and surface collections for her parents' marble business. Upon graduation she extended her practice to include furniture design.
Each handmade piece starts with the selection of the perfect raw material, which is worked by skilled craftsmen into strong geometric shapes or paired with another stone or material to create sharp contrasts. Alexia enjoys combining marble with materials such as steel, glass, and timber, drawing influence from her heritage and training. Since its founding in 2017, the brand has expanded to work on projects all over the world, collaborating with interior designers in Miami, Paris, Mallorca and London.
