The Adalaj ni Vav rug draws inspiration from the ancient stepwells of India; historical architectural structures that carry cultural and spiritual significance. Expertly handknotted in Nepal using Himalayan wool, the cotton-silk blend rug takes its cues from the stepwell built by Mahmud Begada in 1411 to commemorate Queen Rudabai.
