50-year-old Italian family business Mingardo works with contemporary designers to produce metal furniture and products that are defined by elegant lines and exceptional detailing.

Created by Milanese designer Alessandro Stabile, the Twine bench is distinguished by the zigzagging brass strips that provide stability underneath the seat. From a decorative standpoint, these strips also divide the space into shapes that mutate according to the observer’s point of view. A third strip wraps the table top, tying the whole piece together. The bench is designed to offer a temporary seat perfect for less popular spaces or passageways.
