Christopher Farr unites heritage textile craftsmanship with contemporary design. The brand collaborates with artists, designers and their estates to produce handmade rugs that restore rug-making to the status of fine art. The design for the rug is based on Albers’ study for a wallhanging created in 1926 during her time as a student at the Bauhaus school. The rug is produced in association with the Josef and Anni Albers Foundation.
