The pieces in the Sand to Glass collection are made using sand from far-flung locations like Iceland, Miami, Southern and the Aegean Coast of Turkey. They combine experimental techniques, such as blowing into an optic mould, using colour combinations and using two types of sand in one vessel.

In this mesmerising hand-blown blue vessel, sand from the coastal town of Gocek in Turkey is combined with blue glass to create a piece that evokes the Aegean Sea.
