This piece is the first mirror work by renowned glass blower and neon artist Jochen Holz. The limited edition work features a unique mouth-blown neon form that elegantly frames a rectangular mirror. Holz uses borosilicate glass tubing that allows him to create strong, self-supporting shapes. The undulating forms are filled with different rare gases that produce a pure light with a more physical presence than traditional neon tubes.

Holz originally created the mirror for the Relay Design Projects, a platform established by Relay Design Studio to showcase unique and limited edition design with a strong focus on experimentation.
