Circo is a comfortable and lightweight chair by German designer Sebastian Herkner that pairs colourful webbing with a contrasting steel frame.

It is made by Colombian artesanos and artesanas using a technique called “momposino” – a method that is especially popular in Colombia's Santa Marta region on the Caribbean coast. The coloured strings are made from recycled PVC and are woven by hand around a fire-galvanised steel frame to create different patterns. Just the preparation of all the materials takes 20 days, while the production of each chair takes two days.

Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Circo adds a touch of colourful elegance to a terrace or garden room.
