Cartagenas Reina Chair
The dramatic Cartagenas Reina Cocoon chair by German designer Sebastian Herkner is an ode to Cartagena, the lively coastal metropolis on Colombia's Caribbean coast. Featuring an oval-shaped, protective roof, Reina – meaning 'queen' in Spanish – is part throne, part beach chair.
This piece is made by craftspeople in Bogota using an intricate weaving technique where two different colours of recycled PVC string are handwoven around a steel frame to create a neat contrast.
Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, Cartagenas Reina Cocoon can be used makes a show-stopping stand-alone accent piece for a poolside terrace, balcony or garden.
