The ideal place for keeping items such as jewellery, coins or keys, Les Few's minimalist Armance boxes are made from Swedish brass and Italian leather. While the brass is hand-turned from solid brass rods in Sweden, the burgandy leather is sewn in central Stockholm on edge-stitch machines using the same technique that was originally used to sew the leather camera cases for Hasselblad and Leica. The technique is being kept alive by Les Few's Swedish craftsman, who has spent decades collecting the last remaining edge-stitch machines. The Armance boxes are one of the few products made using them.
